Legacy Python finance learning kit
Reproduce the refreshed Python finance exercises with a twenty-function ratio module, tests, a historical Apple dataset, and an export-and-chart script. The README explains setup, formula changes, provenance, and the limits of the historical example.
This optional coding resource supports the two retained Python tutorials. Extract the files into one folder and follow README.md. The module itself uses the standard library; the liquidity script also needs the versions listed in requirements.txt.
The kit contains newly authored revision 2.0 code and tests, the historical apple.csv, setup instructions, and documented conventions. It does not automatically update the original repositories. No preapproved public download is available yet; the local archive is for owner review.
Run the module tests before running the liquidity script. Inspect input dates and accounts, then verify the generated ratio table before using the chart or asking AI to interpret it. XLSX results are static output snapshots; rerun the script when inputs change.
